10 Aug Greenlight Office – completed interior
A new commission from a returning client is always something special to us. It represents trust, a shared way of thinking, and the opportunity to continue a relationship that has already grown through previous collaborations. With Greenlight Office, our aim was to create a contemporary workplace that functions thoughtfully even within a compact footprint, while providing a calm, inspiring and visually engaging environment for those who use it every day.
Acoustics played a defining role in the concept. The dynamically patterned Ege carpet adds a strong visual layer to the interior, while its sound-absorbing qualities contribute to a more comfortable working environment. This is complemented by custom-designed acoustic wall and ceiling panels, which go beyond their functional purpose to become an integral part of the visual identity of the space. Their soft, curved lines are echoed in the bespoke graphics applied to the glass partitions, creating a subtle connection between the different areas of the office.
The understated, warm base palette is complemented by deeper tones and natural wood surfaces. The interplay of textures, the distinctive pattern of the Ege carpet, and the clean forms of Scab and Martex Office furniture create an interior that feels contemporary yet welcoming.
Lighting became a design layer in its own right. Estiluz luminaires were combined with living greenery, transforming the suspended elements into almost floating, organic installations within the space. The natural presence of the plants softens the structured lines of the office while bringing freshness and a sense of life into the working environment.
This project is particularly close to us, not only because of the final result, but also because it gave us the opportunity to work once again with a valued returning client. Seeing the ideas, materials and details originally developed through our visualisations come together as a tangible interior is always rewarding. The result is a workplace designed around the people who use it, while reflecting the design approach and attention to detail that define Motifa Design.
