As part of this project, we carried out the complete redesign of the entrance areas and home office in a Mediterranean-style family residence. The starting point was the preservation of the home’s distinctive original floor finishes, which gently reflect the architectural essence of the building. Guided by the client’s needs, we developed an interior concept that leans toward contemporary elegance with subtle Art Deco influences, striking a delicate balance between classical elements and rich, modern detailing.
The entry hall is dominated by soft pastel green tones, providing an understated backdrop for the lamella-paneled cabinetry and the exposed ceiling beams. Reflective surfaces and the interplay of natural and artificial light visually expand the space, while the subdued, nature-inspired palette creates a harmonious flow between rooms.
At the heart of the reception space stands a refined, expandable round table with gold inlay detailing—serving not only as a visual focal point but also as a functional centerpiece ideal for hosting larger family gatherings with ease. A thoughtfully selected chandelier and a fresh floral arrangement emphasize the elegance of the welcoming area.
The home office was given special attention in the design. The checkered wallpaper dominating the walls provides a bold visual framework, adding both style and depth to the room. Custom-designed furniture—including a dark, statement-making desk and handcrafted, leather-upholstered armchairs—reflect a commitment to timeless sophistication. Lighting is provided by ceiling and wall fixtures adorned with gold and glass accents, adding character and a warm ambiance. Carefully curated art pieces and accessories—including a bull-themed painting—bring a personal touch to the space, subtly alluding to the family’s connection to gastronomy.
The aim throughout the project was to create an interior that feels both welcoming and refined—a space that represents the family’s values and daily lifestyle with discreet luxury, distinctive detailing, and timeless elegance.
